OK. Next. Oh, I’m sorry. You tell them that I’m sorry and ask them to take their time. (Please tell us a little about vibration.) (Can you elaborate on the vibration?) Why should I elaborate on it? (Because it is important to me right now...) (He thinks this is very important to him now.) Why is it important? (That part of Your lecture yesterday left a deep impression on me.) (Because during Your lecture yesterday, this issue seemed to have impressed him most.) Did she translate it correctly? (Yes.) I’m afraid that sometimes the translation is not correct, and then I would give the wrong answer. It’s better if I learn Korean. (No, that’s not it, Master.) That man spoke correctly.

(What do You think about vibration? Vibration?) (What does Master think about vibration?) What about the vibration? The question should be clear! Don’t just say vibration. He should ask clearly. Who can answer a question like this? The way he asked is just like someone asking, “Master, what do You think about taste?” The kind of taste, what it’s used for, and in what aspect it’s used. (I am referring to the issue of spiritual elevation. I would like to know more about how vibration affects spiritual elevation.) (How does vibration affect spiritual uplifting?) If our vibration is too rough, our intellect will be slower when responding to things. It will be lower, will be slower. If our vibration is higher, of course we’ll have more wisdom. It’s like that. Is that what he meant? Is that what he was asking? (Yes.) Yes.

(Could You elaborate on that a little more?) (Can You elaborate in detail? More detailed?) (How can we raise our vibration level? How?) (How…) Why are they laughing? What’s so… (He said that the answer is the Quan Yin Method.) Yes! That’s it! When you ask questions, you have to ask clearly. After practicing the Quan Yin Method, our vibration will elevate and we’ll feel more relaxed. Meaning our vitality, our spirit, our own energy will be different. Then, all these silly questions will vanish. The more we practice, the fewer questions we have. But as you’ve just begun to practice, I’m very patient with you, answering all these silly questions.

Pass it on. It becomes your private property. (I would like to ask about anointing. Christian churches and Buddhist temples sometimes perform anointing to heal people with wood bottles.) (In Buddhism or Christianity, it seems there’s a kind of healing… some kind of spiritual healing. He’d like to know about it.) (But I would like to ask whether anointing has anything to do with the spirits of ancestors. If anointing has no connection to the spirits of ancestors, then... priests who are at a high level of training don’t have the ability to anoint, but...) They all laugh. They all laugh. What is that? (He said that the method he’s talking about is spiritual healing, the method of spiritual healing, does it have anything to do with the souls of ancestors? If not, does it have anything to do with the soul of the enlightened Master…)

(Priests who are at a lower level of training don’t have the ability to anoint, but the believers below them do. How do You interpret that?) Silly! (Normally Christian pastors, pastors in the church, they have no power to heal with spirits. But the ordinary believers of the church think they do have the power to heal with spirits. What is this?) Healing illness is nothing special. You tell him. We have a monk here who often went to the mountains and saw that many mountain gods can also heal illness. They have nothing to do with Buddhism or pastors. Mountain gods and ghosts. Here we also have some people. It’s nothing fantastic. This is just minor magical power. Sakyamuni Buddha didn’t encourage people to use magical power.

(He said that from a Christian’s perspective, using spirits to heal illnesses is very important.) I see. (And when he promotes Christianity, he makes use of this kind of…) Fine, they use it if they want. What has it to do with us? What did you say? (Master doesn’t use magical power.) I don’t use anything to attract people, including magical power. Is the translation correct? I talk logically for your wisdom to understand. You understand that this is correct; you came here yourselves. After you’ve realized it, sometimes your sickness will disappear by itself. Is it (the translation) wrong? Wrong. Fetch it (a microphone) and give it to her quickly. Hurry up. Be careful. Be careful.

After practicing spiritually, our karma will disappear, and our sickness will recover by itself. Such is permanent magical power. And I’ve taught you to be moral, keep the precepts and be vegan, which is even more permanent in avoiding many diseases, more permanent in protecting our body and spirit. Are you translating correctly? (She is.) Correct. OK. Otherwise, if we go to find someone to cure our illness today, tomorrow if we are morally bad and eat carelessly, don’t keep the precepts clearly and don’t practice spiritually, the illness will come back and become even worse. You say it yourself. (You say it yourself.) You say it. Don’t laugh. Say it seriously. Is she saying it correctly? Is “Ka-ka” correct? You tell him that I apologize to the Korean people. I’m worried that they don’t translate correctly.

Alright. Therefore, I want you to practice by yourselves and cleanse your own karma. Then, many of your obstacles and illnesses will become less. But, when many people come to see me, their illness will naturally disappear. It does happen. Naturally! I don’t use any “hula-hoop” or any magical power to save them. (Does it have anything to do with the souls of our ancestors?) It does and it doesn’t. It doesn’t matter. We want to attain Buddhahood; don’t fuss over those trivial illnesses. If you’re sick, go to the doctor. If there’s any spiritual healing which can heal you, then let them heal. In case they can’t cure you and you have to die, then die. Be liberated from birth and death. Liberation. What’s so special about birth, old age, illness and death? Right? (Understand.)
