I’m so sorry for you. (We are happy.) My heart’s broken. (We are happy.) (It’s OK, Master.) (Good memory.) Yeah? Good memory. (Yes!) Maybe a good ending later. (Yes. Hopefully.) In the beginning, Miaoli was also like this. (Yes.) And we had only a roof, even worse than this. And even a lot of strong winds. So, the tents all of them were upside down, inside out. Yes, I’m very sorry. (We are happy. We are happy.) You’re happy. (We are happy here.) OK. But rain is a blessing. (Yes.) According to spiritual people, rain is a kind of blessing because… You’re still here? Because it cleanses the atmosphere and also cleanses us. But it rains too much; it’s “too much” blessing.

So now, what’s going on? We’re going to give some awards to some hardworking people and hardworking Centers. Yes. (Master, can You please give the awards to the contact persons first? Because the Central Daily News is still on the way.) When will he arrive? (He should be arriving soon.) Why does he come only now? (He arrived very early, but they couldn’t find each other. The airport pick-up team could not find him.) And have they found each other now? (Yes.) Then we give awards to others first. (We do it first.) Are there many of them? (These three.) I see. OK. We give them the awards first. (Them first.) And then the contact persons. (OK. OK.) First the guest, then the host. Tong, you make the announcement. Don’t you have a microphone? You can speak from here or from there. Just speak with the microphone.

(Fellow initiate of the Seattle Chinese Post… She interviewed Master before she became our fellow initiate, and wrote a very good article about Master, which was exquisitely written with very deep insights. Her writing style is very special. Master is giving her the award not because she praised Master, but because of her writing style which is very special and exquisite. So, Master is giving her this award called “The best reporter in the world.”) (Coming. She’s coming.) There are many others who also wrote goods things about me; not just her. Should I choose this one later? This is where it should be. (We give it to her first, and then put it back later.) Ah, yes, yes. Because this is where it belongs. There’s something else. You stand higher to show it to everyone. Pardon? Oh. Make it quick.

(The second award recipient is Mr. Hsu Kuo-Min of Yungyu Printing Company in Taipei, General Manager Hsu. The news magazines we’re reading now are all printed by them. We know that we always demand our magazines to be good and fast, and he works with us all very well, often working day and night to rush print for us.) Stand inside. (And he always has to rush to Miaoli to get our manuscript, and help us with a lot of things there. Very often when we need to make changes, he helps us do it promptly.) He is not a fellow initiate. (He is not our fellow initiate, but our special guest.) You have to say it clearly. (That’s why Master wants to award Mr. Hsu, Kuo-Min specially, saying, “He is the best printing company chief in the world,” as he cooperates with us very well. That’s how you can read such delicate and beautiful magazines.) In so many languages. (In Chinese, English, and Aulacese [Vietnamese], all printed by their printing company.) And French, and what other languages? (And the replica paintings that you see are also printed by them.) Translate into English. You have to translate into English, there is no translation. English-speaking people don’t have earphones? No earphones for English-speakers. For you. Thank you very much. (Thank You.) (Thank You, Master.) This is for you. (We are awarding the printing factory in Taiwan [Formosa]. The printing factory has been printing all those publications of Master in the past few years.)

There is another reporter, but he hasn’t arrived yet. And so we’ll wait for a moment. There’s no need to give out the other awards now. (There’s another reporter, but he hasn’t come yet. We’ll wait for a while.) So, you are the representatives of your newspapers. Not only the reporters are good, the newspapers are also good. Otherwise, the newspaper wouldn’t allow you to publish such wonderful articles. (It’s not only that you’re a good journalist. The newspaper itself is a good newspaper, that’s why they give the opportunity to print the articles.) As to the printing factory, he also represents the people working in the factory, who also pour in their efforts for us. This is not what money can achieve. (It’s the same way to the printing factory. It’s because he’s only the representative of the whole factory. A lot of people have been devoting their effort for all those publications.) The two of you can return to your seats, where it’s safer and drier. OK. And please thank for me those working staff in your factory. (Let me thank all those workers in your factory too.) And thank your newspaper agency for me. (And also, thanks a lot for your newspaper company.)

Now we’re going to give some rewards to some of the (meditation) Centers who have been working hard in the past years, or months to promote the Teaching of God and also to help the fellow initiates, to encourage them to continue to practice. So, we have picked some of the best. But nevertheless, it is very difficult to choose because most of them are hardworking and everyone practically is very enthusiastic and diligent in spreading the Teaching and also practicing themselves. But anyhow, we picked the most outstanding and also the most symbolic. We hope next year we have more. It’s very short notice.
