Keep up with those minor fix-it-tasks regularly for a stress-free zone at home! I have a cleaning tip for you. Heat tint forms when stainless steel is exposed to extremely high temperatures because the chromium in the steel reacts with oxygen and produces a thicker oxide coating on the surface. Heat tint is not toxic, easy to remove, and doesn’t affect the pan’s performance. White distilled vinegar can be used to remove light to moderate heat tint. Its mild acidity assists in breaking down the thin oxide layer that leads to the rainbow effect. Dilute white vinegar in a small spray bottle and spray enough into your pan to cover the stain. Utilize a soft sponge or cloth to rub the vinegar into the stain and then wash and dry the pan thoroughly with a dish towel. Repeat these steps if necessary. Your pan should be good as new following this treatment and you can continue to cook with this restored pan.

Let’s forget the worries of the day with this joke titled, “Mind vs. Body.”

Tessa ran into Brooke in the company lobby right after lunch.

“I tried positive thinking today.”

“Oh, good for you. Did it work?”

“I looked in the mirror and said, ‘I love exercise. I love going to the gym.’”

“And?”

“My body filed a complaint for false statements.”
