Mother Nature is an abundant giver, including via herbs and natural remedies. I have an herbal health tip for you today. Mugwort is an herb that helps relieve joint and muscle pain, inflammation, colds, and boost circulation due to the compounds it contains such as essential oils, flavonoids, and tannins. You can make a hot compress by roasting mugwort with salt and ginger, then wrapping it in a cloth and placing it over any painful joints for 15–20 minutes one to two times daily. You can also make a foot soak by immersing your feet in mugwort infused hot water for 15 minutes prior to going to bed to relieve pain and improve circulation. Mugwort tea can also be made by steeping 5–10g of fresh mugwort in hot water and consuming it 3–4 times weekly. Don’t use it continuously for more than a month since it can cause digestive issues or liver toxicity. It is also not recommended for pregnant women, particularly in the first trimester. Please note, mugwort is a supplement, and does not replace prescribed treatment for chronic joint diseases.

There is a good chance that the following joke will bring some smiles to your day. It’s entitled “Major Upsell.”

The phone rang, and Alejandra answered. It was a salesman from a mortgage refinance company.

“Hallo ma’am, do you have a second mortgage on your home?

“No.”

“Would you like to consolidate all your debts?”

“I really don’t have any.”

“How about freeing up cash for home improvements?”

“I don’t need to do any. I just recently had some done and paid in cash.”

There was a brief silence, and then the salesman asked:

“Are you looking for a husband?”

?!

And now we have a heartline from Yara in the Netherlands
