In today’s news, China contributes Kyrgyzstan’s school nutrition program, British scientists examine European air quality and recommend stricter pollution controls, US wall-penetrating radar technology aids law enforcement operations, United Arab Emirates researchers create green hydrogen from seawater, Bolivia aircraft accident survivors rescued in swamp, vegan German company to expand its presence in vegan milk market, and Rwandan government welcomes white rhino-people from South Africa in historic preservation project.

We can enjoy life while also caring for the environment. Today’s tip can help. Using your air conditioner wisely can save energy and extend its life but some common habits might actually waste electricity. For instance, if you’re only going out for less than an hour or two, it’s better to leave it on. Restarting the unit forces it to work harder to cool the space again, using more power and wearing out the machine faster. Also, while “dry” mode is helpful on humid days, overusing it won’t necessarily reduce humidity efficiently, especially in very damp conditions. Finally, running a ceiling or stand fan on low speed helps circulate the cool air evenly, lessening the amount of work needed from the air conditioner.

After five long years of studying, Grady comes rushing into Professor Albert Einstein’s office shouting:

“Sir, Sir, I finally understand your theory of Special Relativity!”

“Well, it’s about time!”

?!

And now we have a heartline from Sari in Tulungagung, Indonesia
